There is something so cool and critically important about performance and how it nourishes musical growth. Everyone who works at the school is a performer, and every one of them will tell you that there is nothing like singing and playing on stage to hone your skills. That, and the fact that there is no experience that can match the pure joy of making live music! 

The Den is our every-third-Friday open mic. Created to provide a welcoming (and well-equipped) setting for musicians to share their music, in any given month you can find accomplished local acts playing new material, or get blown away by performances by our awesome students and faculty.

The Den is also the name of our upstairs, loft-style performance space. It is a warm and intimate room, and our third Friday events attract a respectful, listening audience. Step onto a pro stage, under pro stage lighting and play through a sound system that is… well… totally pro, and do your thing!
